Dr. Ullas G Kalappura
An avid photographer and a travel enthusiast. He came into photography six years back. In 2012, he became the winner of the State level photography competition held by Kerala State Biodiversity Board. He was one among the eight photographers from Kerala who got shortlisted to the final round of the National level photography competition held by Tamron-‘Tamron Challenge 2013’. His areas of interest include nature, travel, wildlife and macro photography. He conducts workshops and teaches photography in various institutions. To an icing on the cake, his student won the First prize in the All India Inter-University Youth Festival held at Kalyani, West Bengal in 2013. Apart from photography, he is also a researcher. He has several international publications to his credit and is also a Doctorate holder from Cochin University.
